With a seven run seventh inning, the Red Sox were able to comeback and beat the Yankees 8-3 to complete the sweep of the Bronx Bombers on their home turf. The victory improved the Sox record to 8-1 against the Yankees this season and gave the Sox a two-game lead in the AL East, just the way we like it. I hope the view of our back sides looks good New York because that is what you will be seeing for the rest of the season. Ha!

If you don’t expect Adrian Gonzalez or Kevin Youkilis to get plunked by a 90 mph fast ball tonight, then you must live under a rock. After Lester almost broke Texeira’s knee and David Ortiz gave a big “F U” to the Yankees by tossing his bat at their bench after launching a home run into orbit, it would be surprising if the Yankees didn’t retaliate tonight. Hopefully they keep it clean and don’t throw it at anyones head, al though it would be pretty cool to see a bench clearing brawl like the Zimmer-Pedro or ‘Tek-A-Rod brawls.
