I was born into it.

Growing up just outside of Boston, I was destined to be a Boston Red Sox fan. As a young kid, I experienced the trials and tribulations of a team cursed by the Bambino. But during that one magical October in 2004, it all changed. The curse was gone and the Red Sox were World Champions. In 2007, they upped the ante and won the World Series again. Two times in four years, unbelievable.

When I shipped off to college at the University of Connecticut, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to study but I knew one thing, sports needed to be involved.

One day, it all clicked, journalism.

And then I decided to mix my new found love, writing, and my timeless love, the Red Sox. The result, this blog.
